Public GIS Map Viewer: Browser Requirements
For best results, the following are the recommended browser requirements:
Internet Explorer 6.1 or later, Firefox 2.0 or later, or others that support DHTML and Javascript.
Javascript (active scripting) must be enabled - this is the default for most browsers.
If your browser provides an option for blocking pop-up windows, you may need to disable that for this site as some windows open as pop-ups.
If you use pop-up blocker software or a browser add-on toolbar that can block pop-up windows, you may need to disable that functionality for this site as some windows open as pop-ups.
In addition, a pointing device such as a mouse, trackball, etc. is necessary for most functions.
The map viewer will open as its own window and will attempt to fill the available screen. A minimum screen resolution of 1024x768 is recommended. The viewer window is resizable, but we recommend any resizing (including maximizing) be done at the start of a session as as doing so will restart the map viewer to its default view, and might also result in some tools and functions being unavailable.
